Reading: Middle and Upper Level

This class focuses on the Reading Comprehension section, teaching students key strategies for reading passages and answering each question type. Students will learn and practice crucial skills like active reading, elimination, time management, and more.

Verbal

This class will be focused on the Verbal section of the SSAT, teaching students key strategies to accurately answer synonym and analogy questions on the SSAT. Students will learn and practice crucial skills like productively studying vocabulary and root words, eliminating wrong answer choices, recognizing the types of analogies, and more.

Data Analysis and Probability

In this class, we will cover the most common data analysis and probability topics that appear on the Upper Level: mean, median, mode, range, interpreting graphs, charts, and tables, finding probabilities, and more.

Geometry

In this class, we will cover the most common geometry topics that appear on the Upper Level: area and perimeter of polygons, the Pythagorean Theorem, volume and surface area of solids, angles, similar shapes, and more.

Algebra

In this class, we will cover Algebra topics tested on the Upper Level, starting with a brief review of the foundations, before quickly moving to some of the more advanced topics, including graphing lines, FOIL, solving quadratics, and more.

Fractions, Decimals, and Percents

In this class, we will be working with fractions, decimals, and percents. We will convert between them, do calculations with them, and apply them in word problems. Come learn how to reduce the fractions, read the decimals, and find the percents!

In this class, we will cover foundational Pre-Algebra topics tested on the Middle Level. Students will practice working with variables, solving equations, identifying numerical patterns, and more.

Summer Prep Courses

Make the most of your summer by getting ready for the SSAT! During our one-week virtual course, students will learn core strategies, skills, and SSAT-specific content.

This highly interactive course is taught by an expert SSAT tutor. Students will have class 3 hours each day plus an hour of homework. During the last day of class, students will take a mock SSAT test.
